My Dream
In the overwhelming busy rush of today’s world, I long for simplicity. Backpacking helps me narrow life down to the few items I actually need. MY dream is to make our lives at home as free and uncluttered as our lives on the trail. I make our own gear, so each item is precisely what we need. I am the proud Father of two wonderful children. I often work with them teaching them about sewing, self sustainment farming and the outdoor lifestyle.

My Journey
I have hiked almost all of Isle Royale National Park, and most of the Porcupine Mountains State Park in Upper Michigan. I am currently collecting sections of the Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin and the North Country Trail nationwide.
I have kayaked around many shorelines of Lake Superior, collecting most of the Apostle Islands, Grand Island, and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Most of my time is spent enjoying countless lakes and forests in Northern Wisconsin.
